Keep your cashmere gloves in shape for seasons to come.
Cashmere gloves’care label may read “dry clean only,” but hand washing a cashmere gloves will actually make it softer over time. Be sure to use baby shampoo or a mild detergent like Woolite or Essence. Press out the excess water, but do not wring the gloves. Instead, lay it flat on a towel and reshape it as it dries.
Tip: Wet cashmere wool gloves can take days to dry. To cut the time in half, use a salad spinner to spin off excess water. Use one with a pull cord; they’re more effective. Then lay flat to dry.
